What is Putong / Pudong?

A Putong is a traditional headdress/head wrapper from the 16th century pre colonial Philippines.

It was typically a cloth wrapped around the head and served both practical and status signaling functions.

The Putong was often used as a marker of social rank, with Datus (chiefs) and nobles wearing more elaborate versions, sometimes adorned with feathers, gold, or other valuable materials.

This Putong is adaptable and can be use in so many different ways to wrap your head or care for your sacred objects.
